Procedure for Commercial Document Attestation
1. Chambers of Commerce Stamp
Commercial document intended to be present in other nation needs to be pre-authenticated by the respective Chamber of Commerce. The rubber stamp of the respective Chamber of Commerce must be affixed on each document along with the name & designation of authorized signatory.
2. MEA Attestation or Apostille
MEA Attestation:- All original documents/copies requiring attestation from MEA must first be authenticated by the respective Chambers of Commerce.
All of the original commercial documents/copies that require attestation from MEA must be authenticated at first with the respective Chamber of Commerce.
Apostille from MEA can be done when document is pre-authenticated by the respective Chambers of Commerce. Apostille Certificate Attestation procedure is needed when a person need legalization of his document to be used in a member country of Hague Convention. The process of Apostille of certificates from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of Government of India can be had on all Indian Certificates.
3. Embassy Attestation
Embassy attestation of commercial document will be done at the end after the document gets attested from respective Chamber of Commerce and MEA.
